Rehabilitation
Our skilled therapists hold their doctorates in physical therapy. Our staff also includes board-certified orthopedic specialists to ensure that you get the best care available for the quickest results. We pride ourselves on an individualized treatment approach using hands-on therapy techniques, trigger-point release, soft-tissue techniques, dry needling, taping, cupping, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and many more to improve pain-free function.
Fitness
Our trainers come from a diverse background using all methods of exercises that cater to your specific needs. Each client will be assessed by our physical therapy doctors for injury risk using our movement screening which will help develop a personalized program that will help you achieve the results that matter most to you. Work personally with our trainers who will consistently adapt the program for your progress.
Nutrition
Our nutritionists utilize the most current research to not only provide you with the best advice to achieve all your personal goals but, they will work with you to find out how you can follow a plan that fits your lifestyle. After working with many clients, we understand that no one can sustain a drastic change however we will supply key steps that will work for you personally.
Dr. Jonathan Gayed, PT, DPT, OCS
Jonathan grew up in Bergen County and enjoyed playing basketball and football. Jonathan earned his doctoral degree in physical therapy at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. Following his doctorate, Jonathan went on to complete his residency to further specialize in orthopedic physical therapy as one of eleven people selected for the program across the nation.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Gayed went on to become an ABPTS board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS). Jonathan is also certified in trigger point dry needling technique, Kinesio-Taping, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Blood-Flow Restriction Therapy, Cupping, and Instrument-Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
After advancing his skill set in physical therapy techniques, Jonathan began seeing a demand for nutrition training among the patients he treated and went on to complete Precision Nutrition’s certification program. He uses this knowledge to help all patients help optimize results.
Jonathan is currently a professor at Rutgers’ and Kean University’s doctor of physical therapy program and was previously and adjunct professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Jonathan enjoys advancing the career of physical therapy and mentors many student physical therapists. In addition to teaching and mentoring, Jonathan is actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) orthopedic and sports sections.
